Do not rub the cap when washing.
Turn the wig inside out and wet the hair with lukewarm water from the top (cap) to reduce tangling. Gently squeeze out the excess water and pat dry with towel. Do not roll or rub the hair into a towel. I’ve decided to just say f it and not attempt to wear it anymore—tired of sewing and reinforcing it just to struggle detangling it trying to avoid ripping it further. On the second day of wear, when I took it off I could hear the seams ripping— disclosure: this wig is too big for me; I did try to adjust the straps, but still had lots of room, so it wasn’t too tight. When I tried running my fingers through to detangle, the frontal portion started ripping from the wig like paper. Place the wig on a wig stand and air dry. We recommend using a smaller head size to avoid stretching the cap.
Update: added a video to show all the tips and to confirm my waste of money. The tangling and shedding is a bit excessive to me and the lace ripped and additional 3x after my initial review. I really wanted to like this wig so much more.
